~ NOVEMBER PHOTO CHALLENGE DAY 17. Water.
Splish! Splash! I wanted to learn how to freeze water (no, not making ice cubes). First I turned on the faucet outside to try to get my settings right. Once I was happy with it, I filled a glass pie pan with water and poured water into it with a pitcher. It wasn’t splashing enough, so I grabbed what was handy outside...a rock (I was lucky it didn’t crack the pie pan and I don’t recommend dropping a rock into a glass dish).😬 Then I decided to use one of my dog’s balls; I was satisfied with the results.
Since I’m no professional photographer, I don’t know the science between the numbers to get perfect shots; I just experiment until it works for me. And now that I know the settings (to freeze water) that work for my camera, I can try to be more artistic in the future.
